Abhishek and Aishwarya had a close shave while shooting for Mani Ratnam's Ravana after an elephant ran amok on the sets in a jungle in Kerala.
The tusker that was part of the shoot killed its mahout by piercing his left tusk into him.
The stars, Mani Ratnam and the rest of the film crew could not return to their hotel as the elephant had blocked the road.
The film crew, however, were not injured. The crew, including the stars, were moved to the nearby Vazhachal area by the forest officials after the elephant was chained and tranquilised.
