B-town's friends turned foes!


Raj Kapoor’s song Dost Dost Na Raha… has probably been a caller tune for every Bollywood actor at one point or the other. B-town boasts of fickle relationships and with Imran-Ranbir’s recent fall out let’s take a look at other friends who turned foes:





Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan

Just like Yash Chopra and Karan Johar who took an ‘unspoken’ vow to never make films without SRK, even Farah Khan swore by the same. SRK-Farah were not just friends but they were a ‘camp’ and together they delivered two of SRK’s biggest hits till date, Main Hoon Naa and Om Shanti Om.

But we guess all the shanti was broken when Akshay Kumar, who is her brother’s Sajid Khan’s best friend and SRK’s rival, not just entered the picture but stole one. The day Farah signed Akki for her next project Tees Maar Khan, it was the end of Farah-SRK’s more than a decade old friendship.

Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha


You would think they’re older and wiser but apparently not. The veteran actor duo fell out because of one childish comment made by Shatrughan.

When Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan were nominated in all the main categories of the IIFA awards 2008 for Guru, Sinha commented, ‘Sab kissika beta hai, ya kissiki bahu, ya kissiki biwi’. This was taken as a personal comment by Big B and since then they have never spoken to each other.

Shatrughan, all we can say is that although your nick name is Shot Gun it doesn’t mean that you shoot from your mouth!

Music duo Jatin-Lalit


Together they created magic and delivered several hits including Khamoshi, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. But what went wrong with the brothers still remains a mystery. Allegedly, it was the younger brother Lalit who wanted to call it quits after some musical differences. Their last movie together was Kunal Kohli’s Fanaa and after that they turned into independent music directors.

Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta


There was a time when Dutt and Gupta were thickest of friends. From making movies to cooking dinners they did everything together. They even started a production house called White Feather Films.

Everything was smooth sailing until an employee of their company was not paid her due by Gupta. Dutt allegedly took the employee’s side and since then they have not seen eye to eye.

The other reason for their fall out is believed to be Dutt’s wife Manyata. Apparently Gupta didn’t approve of Manyata’s interference in their professional matters but when Sanju baba can find it easy to defy his own family, axing a friend from his life was not a big deal at all
