This is shocking and rediculous!!! it gets really annoying when you find out that the very poster of an upcoming and most awaited film, produced by a prestigious production house and starring two top stars of the industry, is copied from a Hollywood film that came out just last year. Though Bollywood might sound corny, it is totally appropriate, given the Hindi film industry’s habit of copying Hollywood films, sometimes frame to frame.
The posters of Anjaana Anjaani, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra is ditto copy of director Lone Scherfig’s film An Education (which was nominated for Oscars this year).
Not only are Priyanka and Ranbir in the same pose as Peter Sarsgaard and Carey Mulligan, Ranbir’s shirt and tie is also the same as Peter’s. Poster apart, the film’s plotline itself is learnt to be inspired from the French film La Fille sur le pont (The Girl On The Bridge).
The songs perhaps are the only thing orignal…
