One controversy or the other pop up every time a film is up for release – be it the link-up between the lead pair or organisations protesting the content of the film or the censor board objecting some scenes but I Hate Luv Storys directed by Punit Malhotra is free of all these. The film doesn’t enjoy publicity out of controversies but the lead pair of the film Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor like it this way.
Some guys do anything to stay in the news and even resort to cheap publicity for their films but Imran and Sonam don’t fall into this category. Maybe the media is not linking them because of Imran’s steady relationship with Avantika, but what about Sonam? She was earlier linked to the film’s director Punit Malhotra but it died down as its release date drew near.
Interestingly, I Hate Luv Storys pair said that they don’t want cheap publicity, but their chemistry on and off the screen has been talked about even more than the ‘made-up affairs’. This is no cheap publicity though!
