No. 6: There Are Some Things Money Can't Buy. For Everything Else, There's MasterCard.

With consumers starting to choose other credit cards, MasterCard turned to agency McCann Erickson in October 1997 to bring them back from the brink. Although there have been some modifications to the "Priceless" campaigns featuring the slogan, the message remains the same. MasterCard may have put out a lot of money to launch the campaign and its tagline, but the result? Priceless.

No. 7: Think Different. (Apple)

Although today Apple is seen as an innovator in the tech industry, in 1997, things were a bit different. In those days Steve Jobs had just regained control and was looking for a way to revitalize the struggling company. Agency Chiat/Day responded by challenging Apple to "Think Different." Jobs liked the idea, and in September 1997 the print and television campaign debuted.

No. 9: You Deserve a Break Today. (McDonald's)

This famous McDonald's tagline stresses the importance of hard work and the pleasure of rewarding yourself with a meal. Agency Needham, Harper & Steers created the tagline in 1971, and despite the fact that McDonalds has had several slogans since then, "You Deserve A Break Today" remains one of the most popular among those who remember it.

No. 10: A Diamond is Forever (DeBeers)

Like diamonds, this tagline will most likely be around forever. Created by Philadelphia's N.W. Ayer & Son in 1944, the tagline for DeBeers is an example of one so catchy it infiltrates pop culture. A variation of the tagline served as the title for an Ian Fleming James Bond book and film of the same name.
